Larry started his career as a project engineer in the acquisition of advanced multi-million- and billion-dollar projects for the government. Three years later, he was recruited as a technology manager in the CTO’s office of a multinational conglomerate, scouting the world for advanced and/or start-up technologies for investment, incubation, and acquisition. He served in this role for four years before he was head-hunted by a private company as General Manager to develop an advanced state-of-the-art hybrid sea-air boat for luxury transportation.
Larry heeded the calling to join the family business in construction, where he transformed the company from a traditional construction company into an ISO-9001 and ISO-14001-certified construction and technology company in building and civil engineering construction projects, as well as renewable projects such as solar, wind and fuel cells. Larry sold the company and retired at age 40, prior to a second calling in real estate.
Currently, Larry is the owner of 8 Street Group (8SG), comprising a commercial real real brokerage, a boutique brokerage, a property management brokerage, a syndication company and a technology management company. The commercial real estate brokerage is affiliated with Sperry Commercial Global Affiliates (SperryCGA) as it's Bellevue, WA office. 8SG has also gone into various joint ventures with strategic partners to expand its offerings to its client base. One such JV company was with a national accredited solar company and an international power/energy investment company to design, fund, build and maintain renewable energy sites for data centers, cryptocurrency mining sites, commercial and industrial clients.
On a personal level, Larry is certified as a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), Certified Retail Real Estate Professional (CRRP) by ICSC and Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) by NAR. Larry's CCIM designation was attained in 5 months and 10 days.
Larry volunteers as the 2022 President of CCIM Washington State Chapter, 2022 Chair of CCIM Institute International Activities Committee, 2024 CCIM Region 1 RVP, sits on the board of directors of the National Association of Realtors and Washington Realtors (2020-2022), member of NAR Commercial Committee and co-chair of the Fiabci-USA commercial committee. Larry also serves in the CCIM Institute 2022 International Presidential Advisory Group.
Larry graduated from the University of Arizona with a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering in 1997 and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering in 1996. Larry enjoys traveling, likes to spend time with family and do yard work in his spare time. Larry is married with 3 children.
