Professional Profile

Since 2005, Justin has completed in excess of $175 million in transactions of retail, industrial, multi-family and office properties throughout North Carolina. Justin earned the CCIM designation in October of 2012. He is an active member of International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Realtors Commercial Alliance of NC, and CoStar.

Prior to founding Mullarkey Real Estate Group, Justin was a founding partner of Eastern Trust Real Estate Company, LLC, playing a key role in building the brand into a respected leader in Commercial Real Estate throughout Eastern North Carolina. Prior to this he was the director of real estate acquisitions for a large quick service restaurant chain, where he was responsible for finding new locations and portfolio management throughout Eastern North Carolina and Central Virginia.

Today, Justin is a “go to” resource for companies such as Dollar General, Fresenius Medical Care, First Citizens Bank, Handy Mart C Stores, Moore’s Chicken & BBQ, among others.

As business has continually grown,Justin is pivoting into a real estate developer and owner. He is the owner of commercial real estate holdings in retail, heath care, industrial, multi-family and office properties located in Greenville, Washington, Durham and Fayetteville.

Justin is a proud graduate of East Carolina University and is currently serving his second term on the ECU Board of Visitors. Formerly, he served on the ECU Board of Trustees (Ex Offico), Habitat for Humanity (board member), and The City of Greenville New Horizons Committee and Board of Adjustments (Chairman, 2017).

In his spare time, he enjoys golf, outdoor activities and spending time with his wife Jenny.
