Professional Profile
John McClure, CCIM, moved to Dallas in 2005, when he started working with his father, Charles A. McClure, CCIM, overseeing the development and construction of Chili’s Grill and Bar Restaurants in Georgia and South Carolina. He then joined the North Texas CCIM Chapter in 2005 and took his first CCIM course, CI 101. Realizing the significance of the designation, value of the education, and lifelong relationships available, McClure kept on the path to Designation and was pinned in October 2007 in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 25.
He first started serving with North Texas CCIM as a Sporting Clays Tournament committee member in 2012. After serving on multiple committees at NTCCIM, he then moved to treasurer, vice president and served as NTCCIM Chapter President in 2017. McClure began attending CCIM Institute Governance Meetings in 2007 and first served on a national committee on the Strategic Planning Committee in 2013. He currently serves as 2024 Presidential Liaison over Member Services as well as a Board of Directors Member. He has also served on Member Services Committee (2015), Networking Committee (2017), and Ward Center For Real Estate Studies Subcommittee (2018) as well as one Presidential Advisory Group (PAG).
