Dave Denton has been a top performer in the commercial real estate industry for almost 20 years. As Vice President of Real Estate Brokerage at DAR Commercial Real Estate, Dave has proven himself to be a leader in the industry. He continues to outperform year after year, while adding value to his clients and DAR. Dave is known for his ability to consistently bring a high volume of transactions to the finish line, with the confidence that the end result serves all those involved.
For years, as a Tenant Representative-Site Selection Specialist, he has assisted the top retail and restaurant brands, and office users, as they expand and seek new locations across Michigan, Northern Indiana and Northern Ohio.
Within the West Michigan market, Dave enjoys representing key local, and national Landlords in the development, leasing, and sale of retail property types including big box power centers, grocery anchored, and neighborhood retail centers and outlots.
Dave is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). With this training and experience he effectively buys and sells retail investment properties with a high level of client satisfaction and retention.
Dave has been recognized by his peers and has won numerous awards as a top producer and for his leadership. A few of these achievements include CARWM’s 2017 Realtor of the Year, the National Association of Realtors National Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Commercial Real Estate Industry in 2018, and a spot in the Midwest Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame in 2019. Dave is also Past President of the CCIM Michigan Chapter and The Commercial Alliance of Realtors.
Dave graduated from Michigan State University (MSU) with a Bachelor of Finance and earned his CCIM from the CCIM Institute. Go Green!
Dave tries to balance his life with what he calls his 6 F Focus. Those are Family, Faith, Friends, Fun, Fitness, and Philanthropy.
When not working, Dave enjoys spending time with his family and friends poolside or at the beach, volunteering at Fredrik Meijer Garden Concerts, and serving as a Board Member of Keystone Community Church.
