Previously based in New York as president and founder of Larkin Commercial Properties, Inc., Larkin developed the top boutique commercial real estate brokerage company in the greater Albany, NY area. He recruited and trained an elite group of agents, focusing on the success of each one. The Larkin Commercial team offered clients the most up-to-date technologies and real estate decision-making analyses.
Larkin Commercial built a national investment platform for private equity, and their exclusive, in-house market information database provided in-depth, actionable market knowledge.

Actively involved in all aspects of the community, the Larkin Commercial team participated with local and state economic development organizations, business development organizations, and the Chamber of Commerce and served community charities. As a result, the Chamber of Commerce awarded Larkin Commercial Properties, Inc. the Business of the Year Award.

In addition to being a CCIM senior instructor and having taught CCIM courses internationally, Larkin received the Covenant CCIM Instructor of the Year award for 103 on three separate occasions. Larkin has taught BOMA courses and authored and taught advanced appraisal courses for real estate companies on topics such as business development, transaction management, negotiations, and specialized real estate analysis for both businesses and investors. He has also been a lecturer at New York University (NYU).
